What kind of carrier is that and where can I get one?

This is a question I get a lot when I am using my Beco Butterfly II carrier. It's just beautiful!! I have one in the "Grace" print. And it's so easy to use!! I carry my nearly 25 pound baby on my back through a whole grocery trip with no back issues. I can flip her from the front to the back without taking her out of the carrier.

This is by far the best carrier I have ever used!!!

Not flippin' for the Flip Hybrid Diaper System

We travel, A LOT. Sometimes we travel to places where washing cloth diapers just doesn't make sense for us. So I went searching for a hybrid cloth diapering system. The first that I did a test run of was Flip system by Cotton Babies. The one size covers had a great fit on the baby.

First up, the Stay Dry inserts. We used just these for one day and they were great!! No leaks, easy to change, less bulky than carrying pocket diapers, and they fit like a dream. I was so excited, because this seemed like a great solution for travel!

Next up, the disposable inserts. After just 2 hours we had sprung a major leak. When I took the insert out it was completely bunched up. So I changed the baby and went on with my day, and my disposable insert test. Next change had the same bunched up insert, although no leak. Third change I decided to try something different, I put a Stay Dry insert under a disposable insert. The disposable insert bunched up just the same.

So I think the Flip system is out for a hybrid cloth diaper system. I am extremely disappointed since I have read such great reviews. On to testing the next hybrid system...

Bath time for baby...and mommy!

When I discovered that my little girl had dry skin I started to search for products that would solve the problem. I tried Aveeno, Johnson & Johnson, and even an adult dry skin lotion. None of those products solved the problem and she still had horrible dry skin. Then I remembered one of the baby shower gifts that I received, a Noodle & Boo Essential Care Kit. It included a trial size of the Soothing Body Wash, Extra Gentle Shampoo, and Super Soft Lotion. After 2 baths the dry skin was completely gone and she smelled wonderful! Rockin' Green Soap!!

One of the things I needed to choose when I decided to cloth diaper was a good "green" non-additive detergent. There are so many out there but one of the recommendations from Happy Heinys was Rockin' Green. I LOVED the scents so I picked that to try.

I just placed an order with them since I was running low. I'm so excited to try the new scent, Motley Clean!! It smells WONDERFUL!! I also ordered the laundry scoop, some samples, and a Shake It Up! pail/wet bag freshener.
